HTS WARRANTY POLICY
HTS — Hawk Torqueflite Specialties, LLC Warranty Registration
Note: All parts only orders have a 90 day defective parts warranty
HTS ultimate duty transmissions with SunCoast torque converters, are
warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original
purchaser for a period of 2 years/24 months. This warranty shall terminate at
the 2 year anniversary date from the time of the original invoice.
HTS improved stock transmissions have a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty.
HTS liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement at its
option, subject to the provisions set forth herein, of any parts which upon
examination by HTS are found to be defective. HTS reserves the right to
determine the course of action in regard to repair and/or replacement of any
and all warrantable products and/or services. Any part submitted for
warranty consideration must be returned to HTS. Prepaid shipping
accompanied with a copy of proof of purchase (invoice), a description of the
concern, and service history. Repaired or replaced products will be returned
to the customer freight collect. All warranted parts that have been replaced
become sole property of HTS, LLC.
A labor charge not to exceed $50.00 per hour per Motor’s Labor Guide time be
covered for the first 12 months of the 24 month period. This reimbursement
will be made only to an authorized automotive repair facility provided that
the original installation was performed by an approved HTS dealer. After the
first anniversary date, HTS will cover parts cost only for 24 months from the
original date of purchase. Any labor cost incurred after the first anniversary,
including shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer. HTS will
not pay for fluid and/or filters.

NOTE: ALL CORE CHARGES ARE CHARGED WHEN THEY ARE NOT SENT BACK
WITHIN THE 30 DAYS ALLOWED
What Is Not Covered Under This Warranty
This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been improperly
installed, damaged as a result of accident or neglect, improperly repaired or
altered by the owner or his agent/tech (taken apart), or abused resulting in
broken, fractured, or sheared shafts and/or gears. This warranty shall not
apply to any products damaged due to low fluid conditions, any competitive
use (IE: sled pulling or drag racing) or commercial applications, towing
weights in excess of manufacturer’s GCWR. HTS will NOT warranty broken,
fractured or sheared shafts.
HTS will not be liable for towing charges, travel/lodging expense or any other
claims including claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages that
any arise under the provision of this warranty.
