HTS WARRANTY POLICY/DISCLAIMER
PARTS
ALL HTS performance parts are covered by a limited warranty to the purchaser for 90 days
from the date of sale. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at the option
of HTS, for the materials found to be defective. It does not include misuse, neglect,
abuse, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, or modifications by anyone. Normal wear and tear is
not covered. HTS is not responsible for any labor charges.
Transmissions
All transmissions should preferably be properly installed by a state certified mechanic. The
transmission warranty shall not apply to any unit that has been improperly stored or
installed, or improper operating conditions, accidents, or neglect, or which has been
improperly repaired, maintained and/or altered by anyone. This includes, but is not limited
to:
Abuse resulting in broken, fractured, or sheared shafts/gears
Damage to the front pump due to mis-installation or misalignment of the torque converter
Damage due to insufficient lubrication as a result of: low fluid level, no fluid in pump when
installing torque converter
Damage due to not flushing the cooler lines
NOTE: HTS WILL NOT WARRANTY SHAFTS
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of parts, but not labor. This limited
warranty does not include misuse, neglect, abuse, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, or
modifications by anyone. Normal wear and tear is not covered. HTS IS NOT
RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LABOR CHARGES, OR TRANSMISSION SHIPPING (TO OR FROM
SHOP). Purchaser shall assume risk of loss during shipping. Cracked cases of any kind
are not covered.
IN NO EVENT SHALL HTS LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID. UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY DISASSEMBLED PART, CONVERTER OR
TRANSMISSION BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY.
HTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY WARRANTY PROBLEMS, INCLUDING TOWING,
STORAGE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF ANY PART OR COMPONENT.
ALL RETURNS MUST BE RETURNED INTACT/REUSABLE. CUSTOMER IS LIABLE FOR ALL
SHIPPING CHARGES AND IS SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE. WHOLE
TRANSMISSIONS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
NO CASH REFUNDS. PLEASE KEEP YOUR SALE RECEIPT.
We will make every attempt to satisfy a warranty claim, within reason. There are no other
warranties implied or written.
DISCLAIMER: If used for anything other than everyday driving, it is dangerous.
In the event the customer requires immediate service and chooses not to wait for their
transmission to be returned to HTS for inspection, service, and potential repair or
replacement, a replacement transmission can be purchased for the full current price of the
transmission, and both direction shipping. When the defective transmission arrives at
HTS, the transmission will be inspected. During inspection, the transmission will be
assessed for warrantable damage. If the transmission has failed under the terms of the
original warranty contract, HTS will refund the full purchase price paid by the customer for
the replacement transmission. In the event the transmission has failed due to any issue
not covered under the original warranty contract, charges will be assessed based on parts
required to return the transmission to HTS standards. The total cost of the required
parts is deducted from the purchase price paid for the replacement transmission, and the
customer will be refunded the difference (if any) between the purchase price paid for the
replacement transmission and the cost of parts required for repair.
In the event the customer can wait for their transmission to be returned to HTS of
inspection, service, and potential repair or replacement, the customer pays both directions
of shipping, of the transmission. When the defective transmission arrives at HTS, the
transmission will be inspected. During inspection, the transmission will be assessed for
warrantable damage. If the transmission has failed under the terms of the original
warranty contract, HTS will repair or replace the transmission, at HTS's discretion. In the
event the transmission has failed due to any issue not covered under the original warranty
contract, charges will be assessed based on parts required to return the transmission to
HTS standards. The total cost of parts required for repair of the transmission, and both
direction shipping, will be billed to the customer prior to the repaired/replaced transmission
being sent to the customer.
Warranty Length
ULTIMATE DUTY TRANSMISSIONS HAVE A: 2 YEAR OR 50,000 MILE (FROM DATE OF
SALE) LIMITED WARRANTY.
PLOW TRANSMISSIONS HAVE A: 1 YEAR OR 12,000 MILE (FROM DATE OF SALE) LIMITED
WARRANTY.
ALL OTHER TRANSMISSIONS HAVE A: 2 YEAR OR 30,000 MILE (FROM DATE OF SALE)

happens within its use. THE BUYER HEREBY WAIVES ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS.
The buyer acknowledges that he is not relying on the sellers skill or judgment to select or
furnish goods suitable for any particular purpose and that there are no liabilities which
extend beyond description of the face hereof, and the buyers hereby waivers all remedies
and causes of action expressed or implied, arising by law or otherwise, (including without
any obligation of the Seller with respect to fitness, merchantability, and consequential
damages) or whether or not occasioned by the Seller's negligence.
The Seller disclaims any warranty and expressly disclaims any liability for personal injury or
damages. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that the disclaimer of any liability for
personal injury is a material term for this agreement and the buyer agrees to indemnify the
Seller and to hold the Seller harmless from any claim related to the item of the equipment
purchased. Under no circumstances will the seller be liable for and damages or expenses
by any reason of use or sale of any such product.
The Seller assumes no liability regarding the improper installation or misapplication of its
products. It is the installer's responsibility to check for proper installation and if in doubt
contact the manufacturer.
